RENAISSANCE WELL

The Renaissance Well, also known as the Knights Templar Well, was formerly located on the path leading from the Great Pond to the Abbey, at the fork in the road under the oak trees. Today, a plaque stands there depicting and describing the structure, which was sold between the wars and ended up in the courtyard of Namyslow Castle, where it remains today. The sandstone sculpture was given to Countess von Reden in 1820. A representative of the von Zedlitz family of Karpniki.
