Bukowiec

About Us

Bukowiec is a unique place located at the foot of Śnieżka Mountain, in the buffer zone of the landscape park, surrounded by ponds, forests and meadows.

For more than 20 years, we have been doing our best to preserve the charm of the 18th-century ornamental farm and a former farmstead.

Team

Cecilia

She fell in love with Bukowiec at first sight, which is probably why she loves organizing weddings and special events in this magical place. She constantly impresses us with new ideas on decor arrangements and how to make our workplace is cozy. She devours books - she has already read almost the entire palace library!
Her hallmark: colorful oversize sweaters.

Karolina

She is a fan of history, long walks with her dog and yoga. In her spare time, she is an amateur gardener. After studying in Wrocław, she returned to her hometown - she can't imagine life without an everyday view of the mountains. Come hell or high water, she remains stoically calm and professional.

Marek

The head of our technical team, for him there is no such word as "impossible". He oversees all aspects of maintaining the facility and patiently explains why some of our team's ideas are unworkable.

Adam

Responsible for guest service at the Mysterious Forest Museum, he's the life and soul of the party and the member of our team with the longest track record in Bukowiec, right after the front-runner in every category, Grażyna. Captivated by the atmosphere and beauty of the Manor Farm for years, he would prefarably live here permanently.

Catherine

Art historian, she applies for grants. She lives in Wrocław and she supervises documentation flow from there.

Stasia

Responsible for keeping clean our facilities in Bukowiec, especially guest rooms. As the facility grows and more buildings are commissioned for use, she has more responsibilities as well as miles to cover.

Peter

A chef with more than 30 years of experience. His specialties include Polish cuisine, Old Polish cuisine and grilled dishes. Winner of many culinary competitions, including Jacek Kuroń Polish Cup in grilled dishes won in Cieplice in 2011. He likes Bukowiec for its closeness to nature, its climate and (as befits an angler) for its ponds and fish. An avid amateur mushroom picker. In his spare time, he runs cross-country skiing.

Grażyna

Long-time manager and organizer of events of all kinds in the Valley of Palaces and Gardens. She writes projects - the responsibility to fund various activities (from buiding wells to staging of an opera) rests on her shoulders - all for the good of Bukowiec and the Foundation that runs Manor Farm and Park. Curious about the world: in her spare moments she explores all that she can. She can handle all the tasks and has everything and even more in her mind. She is the vice president of the Foundation of the Valley of Palaces and Gardens and she takes care of everyone. A computer specialist by education but she is of a generation when a computer was the size of a building. She likes jazz music.

Eve

CEO of the Foundation of the Valley of Palaces and Gardens and passionate about her work. She is an interior designer by education: she dedicated her master's thesis to Bukowiec (coincidence?) to implement this in the Manor Farm and Park after years of her work as an interior and graphic designer! She designed our exhibitions - the Mysterious Forest and the Museum of the Valley of Palaces and Gardens - as well as the new interiors at the Former Sheepfold. The scope of her interests includes art, architecture, monuments, sightseeing tours and detective stories. Mom of Victor, who is a great fan of walks in the park in Bukowiec and lemonade on tap at the Fisherman's House. She loves dogs, and her dream is sheep and peacocks in Bukowiec.

Edyta

She returned from the seaside to her homeland in the mountains and the park in Bukowiec was one of the first places that she was captivated by. She was charmed here by the combination of history and nature, which she loves. And all this with a hint of culture and live music, simply a humanist's paradise. Looking out of his office window at Snow Mountain, he dreams of being able to go there again someday without waiting in line....

Kuba

Our support in online marketing. He and his team prepare and implement advertising campaigns, social media content, updates and develop our website. Passionate about history and modern archaeology. By passion, a great lover and practitioner of enology. He promised to organize a wine tasting event in Bukowiec....

Mijo

Dog, lovable and cheerful, but a bit short on common sense. He eats anything he finds, including plastic bags. He loves everyone and everything. He works every day in Bukowiec, doing office work. He lies next to a desk and barks now and then just to have fun. Parson Russell Terrier.

Baster

The dog which has been in Bukowiec forever, is more than 17 years old. He knows every corner of the place and walks his own paths. He is an individualist who likes selected few. He is very smart but can be grumpy at times. He used to get out near the Café every day. Now, due to his age, he visits Bukowiec occasionally, but always considers the Park and the Farm as his own place. He is a mixture of many qualities on four paws. He stars in a film in The Mysterious Forest Museum as a hunting dog.

Cat

IN MEMORIAM
There are many attractions in Bukovec, but the race track is not one of them.... The cat was a rightful resident of Bukowiec. Unfortunately, she was killed under the wheels of a car and a driver didn't even stop to help her... The cat did not have time to enjoy the new home we created for her. We ask, appeal, pay attention:
SLOW DOWN in the built-up area.
