The park is undoubtedly the biggest attraction of Bukowiec.
It currently covers an area of more than 120 hectares. There are 10 ponds and numerous park pavilions, garden architecture such as Tea-house, View Tower and Fisherman’s House, as well as natural rock compositions.
Designed in the late 18th and early 19th centuries by Count von Reden, was established as the first Romantic foundation in Silesia. During the period of the establishment, the highly regarded garden designer H.K. Walther stayed here and had a significant influence on the design. The park was shaped in the type of the so-called ornamental farm. The natural terrain helped to achieve magnificent landscape effects: the large forest cover of the hilly surroundings, natural irrigation, small groves, cluster of ponds and panorama of the Giant Mountains.
Being so close to nature, we take every effort to ensure that our daily activities have a positive impact on nearby fauna and flora.
Plan a photo session in the Park! If you’re looking for beautiful scenery to capture special moments of your life, you’ve come to the right place. The scenery of our Park will help to capture the beauty of your events in photographs.
Wedding couples and guests who hold receptions in Bukowiec are not charged for the opportunity to have a photo session in the Park.
For other visitors, there is a contribution of 100,00 PLN which will be used to maintain our unique greenery (the area of 120 hectares remains in our care).
The fee can be paid at The Mysterious Forest Museum, the Artistic Barn or the Fisherman’s House.
