The Marble Bench, also known as the King’s Bench, was originally located on an island on Mill Pond. It was brought to Bukowiec in the fall of 1845. from Berlin or Potsdam, as a gift from King Friedrich Wilhelm VI to Countess von Reden. The structure survived in good condition until the 1930s. In the 1970s. After the war it was completely devastated. In recent years, marble fragments have been found in the palace pond, which are now kept by the Valley of Palaces and Gardens Foundation. Intensive revitalization work is also underway and there is a good chance that the building will be restored.
