The magnificent classicist farm buildings in Bukowiec were built in the early 19th century. After Count von Reden’s death in 1815, the farmstead managed by the countess prospered and brought in a large income. What’s more, Frederica took care of the estate herself for 39 years, providing linen cloth for the army, brewing beer, breeding pedigree cows, growing trees and shrubs, and experimenting with new grains. The estate also included livestock ponds.
The farmstead consists of: Former Brewery, Former Administration Building, Barn and located behind the palace, Sheepfold and Cowshed, called “Horseshoe”.
