“Wild Plants Around Us ”
Walk through the park in search of edible weeds
Walking along forest paths, we are not aware that we are surrounded by a wealth that is underestimated on a daily basis. The “weed” plants that grow around us surprise us with their abilities and potential. Their frequent medicinal use is well known, while their use in cuisine and interesting taste qualities are less so. During the walk we will learn about wild plants that we can use in cuisine. We will learn the rules to follow when collecting wild edible plants. We will learn to identify selected species, discuss their properties and learn about their taste qualities.
